WHAT IS NAMASTE?
IT IS THE MOST POPULAR FORM OF GREETING EACH OTHER IN OUR HINDU TRADITION.IT IS
DONE BY PLACING BOTH THE HANDS TOGETHER AND HOLDING THEM NEAR THE HEART, WITH
THE HEAD GENTLY BOWED. IT IS CALLED AS ANJALI MUDRA. IT ALSO SYMBOLISES POSITIVE
AND NEGATIVE FORCES AND BY BRINGING THE HANDS TOGETHER ,IT SHOWS “ADVAITA” (SINGLENESS).
IT ALSO MEANS ,”I PROSTRATE MYSELF BEFORE YOU
WHO IS A MIRROR IMAGE OF ME, WITH BODY,MIND AND SOUL.” IN SANSKRIT THE WORD
“NAMAS” MEANS “TO BOW IN RESPECT” AND “TE” MEANS” TO YOU. IN NUTSHELL IT MEANS I
BOW TO YOU.
SO WHEN U DO NAMASTE NEXT TIME REMEMBER GOD IS
THERE EVERWHERE AND IN EVERY HUMAN BEING. TRY NEXT TIME GREETING YOUR COLLEAGUE IN
OFFICE OR WHEN U MEET UR FREINDS IN MARKET WITH “NAMASTE” INSTEAD OF “HI”.

Prayer (Prarthana)
YOUR PRAYER MUST BE SINCERE AND WITH ABSOLUTE CONCENTRATION.TRY TO UNDERSTAND ,WHEN
YOU READ FROM A PRAYER BOOK.TRY TO PRAY IN THE SAME PLACE EVERY DAY AS IT WILL BUILD
STRONG AND PURE VIBRATIONS.YOU CAN EVEN PRAY WHILE TRAVELLING,AS ALL ARE GOD’S PLACE.

EVEN IF YOU PICK UP A STONE FROM ROAD AND START WORSHIPPING
IT SINCERELY,YOUR PRAYERS WILL CREATE GOOD VIBRATIONS AND IT WILL BE ABSORBED BY THE
STONE.AS YOU PRAY SINCERELY DAILY YOUR PRAYERS CREATE GOOD VIBRATIONS AROUND THAT
STONE AND PLACE ,AND THIS VIBRATES BACK TO YOU.
